Insight-Oriented Therapy for Complex Personality & Relational Dynamics

I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist with over a decade of experience across public healthcare settings, state hospitals, and correctional service facilities. My background includes extensive clinical work with complex personality pathology, severe emotional dysregulation, and deep-seated relational trauma. Having previously served as a clinical supervisor for intern psychologists on the Wits University training circuit, I am currently completing my PhD in psychology through Wits.

My practice is based at 279 Bryanston Drive in Sandton, providing in-person consultations as well as secure online therapy. I work with adults, couples, executives, high-functioning professionals, and older adolescents (16+).

Psychotherapy for South African Expatriates:

For South Africans living abroad—whether facing limited access to English-speaking care locally or seeking a therapist with a deep understanding of the unique historical, cultural, spatial, and social factors that shape South African identity—online therapy provides a familiar, contextually attuned space for depth work.

Rather than relying on superficial coping strategies, my practice focuses on psychodynamic and psychoanalytic psychotherapy. Together, we work to illuminate the underlying psychological structures driving your emotional life, relationship patterns, and sense of self.

Perspectives on the Mind

"The experience of speaking from the heart and being taken seriously builds the psychic architecture that supports the capacity to bear life.”

- Nancy McWilliams

"What we are today comes from our thoughts of yesterday, and our present thoughts build our life of tomorrow: Our life is the creation of our mind.”

"Inviting our thoughts and feelings into awareness allows us to learn from them rather than be driven by them.”

- Daniel Siegel
